Then, I hate to say it, but block Malaysia using country codes and or IP Numbers (not addresses) I'd say you would have fewer bandwith problems that way. But by that logic, you could just as easily block the USA :shock: forget I said anything! You could also just upload new releases to a box.net acc...

Oh boy, therein lies the rub. I have no ideas around that. I suppose they put that in to save some bandwith. My feed reader is set to only show me 50 at a time anyway, so I didn't realize it.

How about reading links from feeds? Since they re-designed them, ff.net has made feeds based on the filter/category preferences.
Reading an xml or atom feed shouldn't be tough, I mean, there are a great many feed readers out there.

All you have to do is, either way: If you want to block an ip address from visiting your site, then add this to your .htaccess file using notepad. Now it isn't recognizing any links as of today. I don't think the downloader is acknowledging either plugin as a matter of fact.

Are the IP addresses attacking you static or dynamic? I'd suggest using a perma-ban script if the former is true.

As ranking first officer, I'd like to report that everything is working great on all the sites I've tested. (FFN, AoOO, Mediaminer, Yourfanfiction)
