I use a kindle touch with no software changes other than what Amazon automatically pushes through, the built in dictionary and translator recognizes all files from fanfiction.net as being German and thus unreadable to a English dictionary because it's the wrong language and illegible to a German dictionary because it's English. It's not that big of a deal but it's an irritant.
